Gourmet Salt & Pepper Seasonings
The Down on the Farm range of gourmet smoked salt blends use only natural Sea Salt from the Southern oceans of New Zealand for their salt products. Where possible all other ingredients are sourced locally, organically or when there is no other choice imported from quality suppliers. Their smoked products have been smoked for days with Manuka, the classic smokehouse favourite, and blended with a range of other appetising herbs and spices to give you a fantastic range of seasonings.
These are offered in a great mix to cover all your cooking and garnishing needs. They are presented in glass grinders that can be set to coarse and fine. Pull out firmly for coarse grind and push in for fine.

Manuka Smoked Garlic Salt & Pepper combines natural solar-dried Sea Salt from New Zealand's South Island blended with quality dried garlic granules and smoked peppercorns. Manuka smoked to give you that beautiful aroma and flavour we so love. Use with eggs or tomatoes on toast, great in a cheese sauce, or toppings. Or of course with fish dishes or really anywhere you like!
Manuka Smoked Sea Salt with Lemon Pepper blends manuka smoked salt with red & green peppercorns and added a good dash of Lemon Kelp. So you get a Lemon Pepper with the edition of Iodine from the kelp and a bit of the smoked salt flavour as well. Use as you would a Lemon Pepper. It's great on aubergine when barbequed.
Smoked Lime Horopito Salt combines the native equivalent of pepper with a zesty Lime Kelp seasoning and Manuka smoked salt ---it's a winner. It's fragrantly zingy and delightful when used to accent fish, pasta, potatoes...and any salad where a burst of citrus tang is required.
Sea Salt & Kelp for much-needed Iodine - this salt is a great source of natural minerals. It is unsmoked so it can be used in baking, porridge, or where our smoked salt is not required.
Manuka Smoked Herb Salt: Manuka Smoked Bay and Rosemary blended with smoked natural sea salt. A beautiful blend to use in soups, casseroles, potato salads, fish sauces. Add a few minutes before serving to allow the flavours to be released.
Manuka Smoked Chilli Salt: The best of both if you like it hot... the smoky flavour first then the bite!!! Best used at the table so you don't lose the smoky flavour during cooking. Natural solar-dried sea salt blended with garlic, chillies and cayenne.
